Big Loft apartment, 300 m2, Warsaw 2008. Two levels apartment in the minimalistic style. Main idea of the design was to lighten the interior because of the -1 level of the apartment in basement, which doesn`t have the access to the daylight. The apartment was divided into public space (ground floor) and private space ( level -1).
In a phase of the concept the whole functional plan was changed into open, multifunctional space. Two floor levels are connected by the lift done with translucent glass. On a -1 level were designed: sauna, bedroom, wardrobes, and private bathroom. Natural, ecological materials, earthy colours, subtle, pastel, differentiated surface textures, contrast of strongly glossy, lacquered surfaces with rough concrete plasters on the walls.
