Model Buddhist Retreat Center, PhD Thesis

Modern Buddhist retreat centre designed in 2016  as a PhD Thesis on a concept of Zen aesthetic rules, summarized in 4 words -emptiness, brightness, luminosity, purity. The contemporary Buddhist retreat centre is presented in a form of the project of architecture, interior design and landscape design located in an abstract, ideal location. Contemporary Buddhist centres are perfect examples of transformation and assimilation of classical Buddhist patterns in the modern world.
