New edifice of the city library- Jagiellonian Library in Cracow, 1998-1999. Extension of the building constructed in 30. of the XX century belonging to few existing in Cracow significant buildings of International Style. Design, materials and coloristic solutions refer to existing building with application of contemporary building technique. Extension of about 15000 m2 gained space for a new bar and a dinning area, a conference hall for 118 people, an exhibition hall, and 5 new reading rooms. In a new building modern system of books transportation- Tele Lift – was installed. Project has gained the 1st prize of SARP (Society of Polish Architects) for Project of The Year 2000.
